La Dolce Vita is the dream child of me, Laura Wilson, an avid cook and foodie. I started in the kitchen, watching my mother make delicious and fabulous meals almost every night. For her, there was no line between baking and cooking; she did it all and she did it well. I knew this as the only way to entertain and cook, never using a cake mix until I was married when my husband asked for a Duncan Hines chocolate cake. (Yes, we are still married after that shock.)
I founded La Dolce Vita on the premise of European elegance combined with American spirit. La Dolce Vita offers cattering Culinary classes, and in-store dinners, lunches, and special events. We offer a beautiful array or items for your home including special foods and lotions imported from France, Italy, and Spain.
I have attended cooking classes in the States and in Europe, won several baking competitions, and learned much along the way. I have cooked with Patricia Wells, Rick Bayless, and recently returned from Paris, where I passed Level I, II, and III Patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu.
